| DieselTech LLC
and Diesel Air Ltd are
currently in the final
stages of redesign to
the PowerLite-100.
These proposed changes
are targeted to improve
performance,
reliability, and fuel
efficiency while
maintaining the engine
profile and weight. |

DESIGN
CHANGES:
ENGINE CASE:
Cast the case using
magnesium, which will
increase strength while
reducing weight.
During this redesign the
casting will be
simplified to reduce
machining time and
associated costs.
The engine mounting will
also be changed to
dynofocal mounting to
reduce the vibration
signature.
CRANK COVERS:
Form the covers in
composites to reduce
internal engine noise.
FUEL SYSTEM:
Replace with a common
rail injection system to
increase fuel economy
and performance.
This will allow for
automatic altitude
compensation and a
single engine control.
Allow for the addition
of glow plugs for
extreme cold weather
starting (optional).

AIR INDUCTION:
Replace Supercharger
with an Electrically
Assisted Turbocharger.
This will eliminate the
supercharger and reduce
parasitic drag on the
engines adding
approximately 20
horsepower to the engine
output.

CRANKSHAFT EXTENSION:
Extension on the intake
crankshaft from the rear
of the engine will allow
for attachment of an
accessory gear drive.

We expect to have the
new design prototype
engines developed within
a year with substantial
increase in power while
maintaining the current
profile and weight.
We predict production
units to be available
late spring 2010.

update it as progress is
made.
